About The Penza Project

Growing 16,000 tons of live turkeys per year in 45 houses in addition to a hatchery, the Penza project is a large turkey integration that sells to the local Russian market.

The Penza project is a large turkey integration, which grows 16,000 tons of live turkeys per year. The broiler turkeys are grown in 45 combi-ventilated houses divided between 3 farms for Turkey rearing and 6 farms for turkey fattening, in addition to a modern hatchery.

Agrotop met strict deadlines successfully while supplying equipment and construction for the project. The project turkey houses grow 1,060,000 birds per year and Agrotop’s modern fully automatic hatchery is capable of hatching 1,434,000 eggs per year, all in weather that can reach lows of -20`°C (-4°F). The carefully integrated equipment for all growth stages, along with the advanced micro-climate systems used throughout the houses and hatchery, are designed to keep the inside conditions exactly with the birds’ comfort zone while remaining economic. This leads to good growth and financial results.
