Cooling Systems
Apart from the "wind chill effect" generated by the tunnel ventilation, a cooling system in many cases is required. This system can lower the real temperature in the poultry house, so that the room temperature is lower than the temperature outside.
The cooling system comprises a 6-inch cellulose pad and PVC ducts combined with stainless steel components, filters, and circulation pump.
The required area of the pads is calculated by Agrotop specialists to match the specific features of the house, thus ensuring proper functioning of the cooling system together with the rest of the structure's climate control systems.
The pads are installed parallel to the tunnel vents, at a distance that allows the cooling water to evaporate properly in the air coming in, so that the air entering the house is uniform in humidity level and low temperature. This placement of the pads in fact creates a "cooling corridor" that can be entered through a walk-in door installed as part of the front gable, to perform maintenance.
