The electrical system in the layers house is, in fact, an industrial system in all respects. The layer house has dozens of motors with dozens of timer-switches of all kinds, hundreds of lighting elements, main panels and sub-panels for the climate system, feeding, lighting, egg collection, and manure drying systems, and dozens of indicators and switches connected to the control system.
In planning a layers farm, there must be an emergency back-up generator, including an automatic switchboard to the utility company. Depending on the size of the farm's connection with the utility company, the authorities may require a separate structure to be set up for this purpose.
In addition to the electrical system, Agrotop supplies computerized control systems. The control system can cope with the complexity involved in operating all systems in the house in an integrated, user-friendly way. An optional system module collects all accumulating data relating to food and water consumption, egg production and back-monitoring of all events in the house.
The central farm computer can manage an entire farm of laying hens, tracking and monitoring everything going on in each house at any given moment.
