Light Traps

Air vents and exhaust fans are darkened using light traps. The efficiency of the light traps is a function of the degree of darkness attained while disrupting the air flow as little as possible. From among the many light trap manufacturers worldwide Agrotop has contracted with the Acme Company in the United States, which makes light traps that have been scientifically proven to be more efficient than those of their competitors.
The area of light traps required to let air in and out is a crucial factor in ventilation efficiency and is carefully calculated by Agrotop specialists. The traps are placed in the house wall with fans placed on a parallel wall, to create "corridors of darkness" or "fan rooms." In the air inlets, light traps are integrated into the cooling corridors – or absent cooling corridors, special darkness corridors are set up.
In houses using the CTV method, special vents are also installed with the light trap already included.
