Turkey Breeding

Turkey breeding houses are similar in principal to the Turkey broiler houses. Sometimes, the thermal insulation needs improvement, and then no ridge vent is made at the roof apex. Instead, the roof is insulated.
In certain cases, mainly in extreme climates, such poultry houses are totally sealed off from the environment and include all ventilation systems required by this type of insulation.
Artificial insemination rooms are erected in parallel along both long sides of the poultry house.
These rooms are built on a lower level than the level of the poultry house itself. The female turkeys can be passed to the inseminator through an opening in the poultry house wall, with the inseminator located at the lower level in the insemination room. An inclined ramp allows the female turkeys to return to the poultry house after insemination. The inseminating rooms are insulated and provide the inseminator with comfortable working conditions.
Since breeding turkeys are kept in total isolation, Agrotop installs pneumatic systems to fill the feed bins while the trucks remain outside the farm fences.
The breeding house farms are closed, independent units, and in most of them Agrotop sets up electric fences and various utility buildings for sanitation, as well as fumigation and egg storage rooms.
