Ventilation

Proper ventilation of the layers house is critically important. The huge numbers of laying hens inside the house produce a great amount of heat which the ventilation system must dissipate. At the same time, the cage battery positioned along the entire width and nearly the full height of the house disrupt ventilation in such a way that meticulous planning of the ventilation system is essential. In this area, Agrotop implements internationally proven knowledge and experience, as well as the accumulated experience of professional growers in Israel.

Lower level electrically operated shutters are installed in the walls of the house, as well as a motorized continuous baffle on the wall eaves, near the ceiling. At the roof apex is a motorized shutter enabling control of the ridge vent.

Air openings controlled by Rollseal curtains are installed at the end of the house (or center, in particularly long houses), and exhaust fans are installed in the gable at the other end (or in two gables when the houses are long). A double cooling system, two stories high, is installed parallel to the air openings.

Proper integration of all the climate system elements needed to establish the desired conditions inside the house is achieved by means of advanced control systems.
